Mills overcome Town fright

Cup success for Millers

Union Mills overcame a fright before sealing success against Division Two promotion hopefuls Castletown in the first round of the Paddy Power FA Cup.

A surprise seemed possible after Jordan Cooper and Andy Blake gave Town a 2-1 interval lead at Garey Mooar.

However, the top flight club took charge after the break with Jordan Crawley (two), Chris Kelly (two) and Luke Booth on target in a 5-2 win.

In JCK Division Two, Douglas and District pushed Pulrose close before the visitors emerged 3-2 winners, courtesy of Darren Flanagan (two) and Barry English.

Peel were 5-1 winners at Rushen in Canada Life Combination One to keep alive their title hopes.
