Man admits possessing drugs in McDonald's

Sentencing due in March

An 18-year-old man has admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply at McDonald's in Douglas.

David Anthony Teare appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes this week and pleaded guilty to the offence.

The court heard Teare, of Belmont Terrace in Douglas, had 11 bags of cannabis when he was arrested by police last September,

He was bailed to the sum of £500 and will appear in court for sentencing on Tuesday, March 15.
