Highways (Amendment) Bill: Committee to hear evidence

The Select Committee of the Legislative Council on the Highways (Amendment) Bill 2015 will be taking oral evidence on Tuesday 9 February 2016 at 2.30pm, provided that the sitting of the Legislative Council has finished by then. The evidence will be given by Jeff Robinson and Bill Corlett from the Department of Infrastructure together with Howard Connell from the Attorney General’s Chambers.

The session will be held in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. The evidence will be taken in public. Members of the public are welcome to attend or to listen via the audio webcast service on the Tynwald website (www.tynwald.org.im/business/listen). 

The Committee was established on 8 December 2015. The Members elected to the Committee by the Legislative Council are Mr Coleman, Mr Corkish, Mr Turner and Mr Wild. At its first meeting the Committee elected Mr Turner as its chair.
