Island financial regulation criticised

It's claimed 625,000 customers didn't receive owed money

Financial regulators on the Island had known about problems with the insurance of a Scottish Power cashback structure for years.

So says former Island resident Alan Campbell who has started a campaign get customers refunded.

The collapsed Scottish Power scheme had been insured by companies in the Isle of Man, but it's claimed 625,000 customers didn't receive back all the money they were owed.

An All-Party Parliamentary Group in the UK has been hearing evidence in the case and Mr Campbell says serious questions were raised about Island authorities:
