Don't make it easy for criminals

by isleofman.com 2nd February 2016
That's the message from the Police after two vehicles which were taken last week, without the owners consent, were found to have been left insecure with the keys in them.

Overnight between Wednesday 27th January and Thursday 28th January 2016 a blue VW Beetle was taken from Second Avenue, Onchan and later located in the area of Heather Close, Pulrose and a blue Daihatsu Fourtrack was taken from a car park behind the Manx Arms in Onchan and later located in Royal Avenue, Onchan.

Police are appealing to the public to help prevent this type of opportunist crime by locking their vehicles.

If you saw these vehicles being driven throughout the night in question please contact Constable Lewis Cassidy at Lord Street Police Station on 631212 or via Lewis.Cassidy@gov.im.
