Roads opening after storm

by isleofman.com 26th January 2016

The worst of the weather is now hopefully over.

The Mountain Road is now completely open.  The Ramsey Coast road is clear as are the roads to the west of the Island.

Shore Road, Gansey is like to still be closed at 5pm so please plan your route if heading that way.

Douglas and Laxey promenades are in the process of being swept clear of debris so will hopefully be open any time now. Update - Broadway to Summerland should be passable with care by 5pm but please take an alternative route if possible.

Castletown promenade will be swept once the standing water has cleared

Ramsey promenade by the Queen Pier is open with the other promenade we believe opening shortly.

Photo - Thanks to Ron Strathdee for this photo taken earlier today.
