Facebook fraudster targetted Island teens

Arranged to meet girls as young as 13

A Facebook fraudster may have stolen personal information and photos from dozens of Island teenagers after posing as a friend.

Joseph Williamson of Peel unearthed the con after being contacted by Kyle Reynolds – who claimed to be 17 years old and from Ramsey.

But he doesn’t exist – and had used a stolen profile picture to befriend girls as young as 13, even arranging to meet some of them last Friday.

Joseph says despite the account now being deactivated, accepting him as a friend gave him free access to almost everything on Facebook:
