Independent Financial Consultants Limited (IFC), a leading provider of corporate and personal financial planning, wealth management and asset protection services, has been awarded highly coveted Chartered status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
For the company, which was set up in 2007 by Managing Director Kate Evans, it is a landmark moment: Chartered status is an exclusive title awarded only to organisations which meet the CII’s rigorous assessment criteria. While the Institute has over 115,000 members in 150 countries, only 900 firms have achieved the distinction of Chartered status, which gives an indication of the standards of excellence required for the achievement.
Both Kate and husband Craig, who joined IFC in 2012, have channelled into the company a wealth of knowledge from their respective backgrounds. Before moving into financial services, Kate specialised for eight years as a captive insurance underwriter, while Craig worked in the Isle of Man Tax Office for 24 years. Julie Owen, who recently joined the team, is a highly experienced Chartered Financial Planner.
IFC have built their reputation – and continue to grow their client base – through a comprehensive, uniquely personal service which is 100% committed to the requirements of the customer. Kate says, “This team is fiercely dedicated to each and every one of our clients; their financial security and peace of mind is always our prime objective.
“Earning Chartered status from the Chartered Insurance Institute is the pinnacle of our experiences as a team to date; we are immensely proud and honoured to have achieved this accreditation. It reflects the level of professionalism and integrity we bring to every aspect of our work, and consolidates the message that, whether you are an individual or organisation, IFC is a name you can trust”.
