A man and woman have been charged following a robbery at the Willaston Spar, earlier this month, and will appear in Court tomorrow. (Tuesday 26th January)

Police have confirmed that they have charged a man for the robbery which occurred on Saturday 16th January. A woman has also been arrested and charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Detective Sergeant Bobby Syme said:"I still wish to appeal for witnesses who were in the area of the Spar shop at the time of the offence to come forward, did you visit the shop at approximately 9.30pm on Saturday night (16th January 2016)."
