by isleofman.com 25th January 2016
The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence on Wednesday 27 January from the Minister for Health and Social Care, Hon Howard Quayle MHK.

The Chief Executive of the Department, Dr Malcolm Couch, will also participate.

This will be a general oral evidence session covering a range of topics. The Committee will also use it to pursue the social care procurement inquiry on which it last heard oral evidence in December.

The session will be held at 10.30am in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. The evidence will be taken in public. Members of the public are welcome to attend and the proceedings will also be streamed live via the Tynwald website.

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee is one of three Standing Committees of Tynwald Court established in October 2011 with a wide scrutiny remit. The Committee is chaired by Mr David Cretney MLC and the other members are Mr Geoffrey Boot MHK and the Hon Steve Rodan SHK.
