Pupil database being sorted - Rodan

Proper legislation to run a centralised pupil database is close to being secured, according to Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan.

The Department of Education and Children switched it off last October when it emerged it was being operated unlawfully.

A senior education official also revealed certain information was unaccessible whilst the database was switched off.

But Mr Rodan is confident the situation is being addressed:
