by isleofman.com 23rd January 2016

More bad weather heading our way early next week

Government is preparing for more flooding predicted next week.

The weather forecast currently sees Tuesday and Wednesday hit with further heavy rain.

The Department of Infrastructure, Manx Utilities, the police force, fire and rescue teams and the civil defence unit are all said to be on call to attend any problem areas.

It's been warned heavy rainfall this week has left the ground saturated and more vulnerable to damage.

If you have any incidents of standing water to report, call the DOI on 850000.
