The Inquest into the death of a much loved local character is to open tomorrow afternoon.
Simon Buttimore, aged 56, who lived in Ramsey, passed away in Nobles hospital on Monday following a road traffic accident which occurred just before 11pm on Friday 15th January near the Everlasting Bend on the Laxey to Ramsey coast road.
A friend paid tribute: "Simon you were a major force for creativity and joy on the Island, your views, everything. I willl always keep you in my mind, and I will never forget you, you most brilliant soul."
