Chance to get involved in rec

A workshop is being held on the Island to try and encourage more people to become involved in recording marine strandings.

It's been organised by the Manx Wildlife Trust and will take place at their headquarters in Peel in March.

There have been numerous marine animals washed up on Manx shores over the last year, including rare sightings recently of a loggerhead turtle and an otter.

Marine Officer for MWT Lara Howe says anyone who has an interest can attend the workshop and help the trust

It takes place at 7pm on Monday 7th March and is free. For more details contact lara@manxwt.org.uk
