Manx fisherman recounts horrifying accident

Appears in new safety video

A former Island fisherman who lost an arm in an accident at sea has become the face of a new safety campaign from the RNLI.

Jamie Griffin lost his arm after becoming tangled in a winch in 2013, also suffering eight broken ribs and a punctured lung.

He appears in a new safety video released by the RNLI which warns seafarers about the dangers of deck machinery.
