Tickets available for Marown Players Panto

by isleofman.com 18th January 2016
The ever popular Marown Players panto returns and this year they take a trip to Sherwood Forest for their pantomime “Robin Hood” but all is not well in Nottingham! The evil Sheriff has three aims in life: to increase his money mountain; to catch the outlaw, Robin and to marry Maid Marion. Will Robin Hood come to her rescue? Will anyone rescue the Sheriff from the attentions of Nurse Bedpan, a would-be beauty products tycoon who is out to get herself a husband. Will Robin and his Merry men ever learn their big production number?!

Throw in two villains and a couple of ladies-in-waiting and a love-potion provided by the Witches and we’ve got a panto full of rollicking local humour as the Marown Players put their own spin on this story.

The whole community gets involved in the production and there will be songs, spectacular dances – and even a horse in this years performance!

A perfect half term event for all the family.

Evening performances: Wednesday 10th February to Saturday 13th February plus a matinee on Saturday, tickets priced just ?8.

For tickets contact: Louise Trimble evenings and weekends on 404520, call Marown Primary School Tel: 851428 Monday to Friday or online www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/robin-hood-the-panto-tickets-20831331072
