The Police have confirmed that the man arrested in connection with the armed robbery at Willaston's Spar Newsagents has now been released on bail.
The robbery happened at about 9.30pm on Saturday evening. One of the female employees was threaten with a knife and the offender fled with cash in the region of ?500.
Police are hoping to release CCTV and still images in due course.
