Have your say on harbour identity checks proposal

by isleofman.com 15th January 2016
An online survey is now live asking for people's views on the proposed introduction of greater identification measures for those travelling to and from the Island by sea.

Whilst identity checks take place for commercial flights there are no formal checks in place at the Island's harbours making it possible for persons to travel under a false name.

The survey, which is being conducted by the Department of Home Affairs, give an overview of the intended processes and consists of six questions, asking the public to consider any perceived impact to residents/visitors,

The survey can be found here.
