Department of Infrastructure reveals plans

A planning application has been submitted for the new bridge in Old Laxey - just two days after a public consultation forum took place in the village.

The Department of Infrastructure's chosen design is finished in Manx stone and black polished concrete, adorned with two ornamental miniature lighthouses.

Also contained in the application are plans for a seating area and paved walkway.

Laxey Commissioners said they're continuing to welcome feedback of any kind on the proposal.

You can view the application for yourself on the government's website gov.im.
