Albany Lawn Tennis News

by isleofman.com 14th January 2016
All juniors who attend coaching on Saturdays and Sundays are reminded that this weekends sessions will not be held as the Isle of Man LTA is running a Level 1 coaches course (15/16 & 17 Jan) at the club using the indoor court and clubhouse. The committee apologise for this disruption but it is vital that Manx tennis has some more level 1 coaches both for club and school programmes. The sessions will resume the following week. All the usual weekday sessions are not effected.

Will ALL members using the indoor court please complete details on a payment slip and enclose with their payment. These payments have to be reconciled and we are finding anonymous money in the payment box.

The club committee is meeting on Saturday 23 Jan to mainly discuss our provisional events planned for this year. If any members have any idea for social, competitive or fund-raising events or can offer some help with clubhouse decoration etc please contact me at albanytennispr@manx.net or the chairman Stuart Colligon stuart@auxesia.im

The club has a quantity of used tennis balls for sale - ?5 for a bag of 20. These are ideal for dogs training or exercise or if given a quick rinse in a washing machine can be used by young children.
