Charity implores public to adhere to alcohol guidelines

New guide advises two alcohol-free days a week

The Manx public should take new advice on alcohol seriously, according to a local addiction charity.

A major review of drinking habits was published last week, after 21 years.

Main changes to advice is that both men and women should now have a maximum of 14 units per week, and two days completely alcohol free.

Director of Motiv8 Thea Ozanturk says it's down to each individual to take the advice on board:
