16 years on: Solway Harvester remembered

Today marks 16 years since, in heavy storms off the Island's coast, the scallop dredger, Solway Harvester, sank with the loss of all of her seven crew.

Skippered by Craig Mills, the Solway Harvester was sheltering from a force 9 gale in Ramsey Bay when contact was lost on the evening of the 11th January 2000.

The wreck of the Solway Harvester was found on the 15th January.
