Road at Ballacraine blocked

Take it easy on the roads – that’s the message from police after two collisions within the past half hour.

The accidents are at Ballacraine and Ballaspur due to ice on the road.

A vehicle is on its side at Ballaspur and the Glen Helen Road between Ballacraine and the Poortown Road is currently blocked so obviously avoid the areas.

There’s also ice and sleet reported on the roads in Foxdale and Crosby.
