Nomads into Manx Cup semi-finals

Douglas B rampant in Manx Shield

Southern Nomads beat Western Vikings 66-5 at Mooragh Park on Saturday to book their place in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Cup semi-finals.

Nomads led 32-0 at half-time with tries from Jacob Callow (two), Conor Stephens, Al Corrin and Gerard Landels.

In the second half, Ed Alderson pulled one back for Vikings but further tries from Alex Lewthwaite (two), George Callister, Stephens and Ally Kelly helped Nomads close the game out.

They now face Ramsey on February 6.

Douglas B were rampant in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield.

They destroyed Emerging Nomads 83-0 at Poulsom Park.

Karl Evans led the charge with a hat-trick of tries.

There were also scores from Mark Shortland, Carl Conroy, Will Archer, Ollie Bolt, Charlie Henthorn (two), Dom Long, Alex Long, Nathan Knight and Bradley Martin.

Archer also kicked nine conversions.
