Thieves siphon diesel from firm's tank

Police investigate substantial oil theft

Police are investigating the theft of around 2,500 litres of diesel oil from an Island business.

It was siphoned from a tank at Isle of Man Meats on Ballafletcher Road in Douglas some time between 8pm and 9pm on Wednesday 30 December.

Officers want to hear from anyone with information about the theft, or has have been offered diesel for sale since this date.
