The Equiom Group’s experienced eGaming Team will demonstrate its expertise and industry know-how at ICE Totally Gaming at ExCel London next month.
Taking place from 2 to 4 February, ICE Totally Gaming is one of the industry’s largest trade events and is expected to attract around 25,000 people over three days. The exhibition will feature representatives and exhibitors from the global betting, bingo, casino, lottery, mobile, online and social gaming sectors and will play host to hundreds of new product launches.
Equiom’s team will be led by Peter Greenhill, Head of eBusiness. He commented: ‘ICE is the biggest event on the European gaming calendar. It plays a significant part in Equiom’s eGaming strategy by providing a platform for the team to meet current clients and contacts and create new business relationships. As a multi-jurisdictional business Equiom is ideally placed to help international companies gain multiple licences and provide appropriate advice and support wherever it is needed. We are particularly excited to talk to prospective clients about the increased opportunities provided by the expansion of our teams in the Isle of Man and Malta, which includes the appointments of Colin Gregory as Head of Equiom’s Malta business and Chris Cini as Legal Counsel for Malta.’
Peter joined Equiom in October 2015 from the Isle of Man Government’s Department of Economic Development where, for the previous two years, he held the positions of CEO of eGaming Development and Director of eBusiness. Peter is driving forward the Group's eBusiness service offering, supported by an experienced in-house team. He represented Equiom at a number of high-profile eGaming events in 2015 and is working on a comprehensive strategy to promote Equiom’s eBusiness capabilities in 2016.
Peter will be supported at ICE by a strong team including Barry Smith (Legal Director), Adam Beighton (eBusiness Manager), Colin Gregory (Director – Equiom Malta) and Sophie Campbell (Business Development Officer). They will be speaking to new start-ups and current business about Equiom’s eGaming services, including licence applications, regulatory and tax advice, and assistance with strategic business planning. Equiom has a 100% success rate in the first-time management of a number of complex licence applications for operators and software providers and has been involved in the eGaming sector since 2005.
Equiom is a regular exhibitor at ICE, having co-exhibited with the Isle of Man Government for the past seven years, building strong working partnerships with the Island’s Department of Economic Development and key figures from many leading jurisdictions worldwide.
