Search for Josh Caley called off

by isleofman.com 6th January 2016
The official search for 19 year old Josh Caley has been called off.

Josh, who was home from University for the festive season visiting his family in Jurby, went missing in the early hours of January 1st. Appeals were initially made for information as to his actions on New Year's Eve in the hope of Josh's safe return. Sadly, a further release from the Island's Police on the 2nd January confirmed that after reviewing CCTV of the Ramsey Harbour area it was seen to show Josh having fallen into the harbour.

According to a post on social media yesterday, from Josh's mum, which has been shared nearly 1,500 times, the services involved in the search and recovery operation have done all they could for (the) time being. Mrs Caley goes on to appeal to "dog walkers, fisherman and others to continue looking out for him".

Our thoughts are with Josh's family and friends at this difficult time.
