Sir Clive Woodward to speak at Sporting & Dining Club

The Sporting & Dining Club is delighted to announce Sir Clive Woodward as one of their forth-coming guest speakers. The event takes place the week of the deciding matches of the 2016 Six Nations Tournament are played, on Thursday 17th March 2016, and is sponsored by Specsavers Opticians Isle of Man.

As the architect of Britain's greatest rugby achievement, Sir Clive Woodward is a national hero, and is one of the most sought-after public speakers across the industry. This follows on from their sell out dinner with England's world cup winning skipper, Martin Johnson, in October 2014.

Clive’s approach to winning has captured the imagination of both the sporting and corporate worlds. His principles have resonance not only in sport but they relate to business in practical and theoretical terms. Sir Clive not only led the England rugby team to World Cup glory in 2003 but also spearheaded the enormous success that the national side achieved at the London 2012 Olympic Games as Team GB’s Director of Sport.

The black tie dinner will take place from 7.00pm, on Thursday 17th March 2016, at the Palace Hotel & Casino in Douglas.
