Island officer to receive police honours at funeral

Ceremony at Kirk Andreas tomorrow

The funeral of a popular Island police officer will be held tomorrow lunchtime (Wednesday).

Sergeant Andy Pailor, who was 45, passed away at Noble's Hospital last week following a short illness.

The married father-of-two had a 17 year career in the Manx Constabulary.

During the service at Kirk Andreas Church at one thirty tomorrow afternoon, he will be given Police Honours.

The service will be followed by burial in the church grounds and the family has requested donations are made to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation via its website roycastle.org in lieu of flowers.
