Bowl will require weeks of work

Stadium damage will take time to repair

A lot of work will have to be done before the Bowl can properly re-open.

The facility was badly flooded during the recent torrential rain and, as well as ruining the pitch, the Isle of Man Football Assocation headquarters and changing rooms were also badly damaged.

Speaking on Saturday Sport, Manx Radio's football correspondent Tony Mepham says with all the damage and a severe backlog in matches, football is going through a tough time on the Island.
