In Laxey, swimmers will take to the water from midday in aid of Manx Muscular Dystrophy, while at the same time Peel’s dip will raise money for Peel Lifeboat, Multiple Sclerosis and The Friends of Robert Owen House.

An hour later at 1pm, you can take part in the Douglas dip on Queens Promenade to raise money for Isle of Man Breast Cancer Now.

In the south of the Island, swimmers will take to the water at midday at Chapel Beach . . . 1pm in Port St Mary inner harbour, at 1.45pm at Gansey Beach and at 2.30pm in Port Erin.

Castletown Ale Drinkers will hold their event in the Island's ancient capital from 3pm.
