AAIB probes incident at Ronaldsway

The Air Accident Investigation Branch is investigating after an incident at Ronaldsway airport earlier this month.

 

A Stobart ATR-72 plane on a Flybe flight from Manchester scraped its tail as it came into land with 70 people aboard.

 

The plane suffered minor damage and was grounded for 13 hours before resuming service.

 

The incident, rated serious, happened on Tuesday, December 22 and is now being probed by the UK’s air safety body.
