The Isle of Man escaped the worst of last night's storm.
Trees were brought down in high winds but the heavy rain missed the island. Police have thanked the public for taking precautions and teams from the Department of Infrastructure who quickly cleared trees off roads.
Further gales are expected around midday and the high tide at 2.25pm means there could be coastal overtopping in vulnerable areas including Shore Road, Gansey, Castletown prom and the Summerland end of Douglas prom.
