More high street visitors this Christmas

Numbers up in Douglas

Douglas town centre has seen increased footfall this festive period compared with last year.

The Douglas Development Partnership, who measured the figures, believes it's partly down to attractions such as Christmas markets and free parking.

Development Manager Chris Pycroft, and Town Centre Manager Michelle O'Malley, say the town's retail prospects are looking up:
