Mountain Road shut

The emergency services say the Mountain Road is closed at the moment as they deal with an accident.

Police say the road is closed between Cronk-ny-Mona, where the incident happened half an hour ago – and Signpost Corner.

The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service says one of those affected was trapped inside a vehicle, but no serious injuries have been reported.

The emergency services are at the scene – but say the road will remain shut while fire personnel work.

Their advice is to avoid the area if possible.
