Pay scale argument 'needs context'

Fewer government workers now than in 2011

The Chief Minister has moved to quash suggestions that an increase in salaries at the highest level of the Manx government is because of high-earning civil servants.

 

In Tynwald this week, Michael MHK Alfred Cannan said he was concerned by figures which show while there are fewer workers in government now than in 2011, more are earning top wages.
