Man responsible runs off

A man responsible for smashing a shop window in Ramsey, in what's described by police as an 'apparent drunken prank', is being asked by them to come forward.

It happened as three men were walking along Parliament Street, at around 11.35pm on Wednesday.

One of them bounced into the front window of a shop.

The window held, but the same man did similar at Felton's Ironmongers.

This time the window smashed.

Officers say he was lucky not to be seriously injured.

The three men - one of whom was wearing a distinctive Santa hat - ran away down Parliament Street together.

Officers are appealing for the man responsible to contact Ramsey Police station on 812234.

They say the area is well covered by CCTV.
