Duncan Bridges takes new position in England

It's the end of an era at the Manx Wildlife Trust.

Director Duncan Bridges is leaving the charity after fourteen years at the helm.

He's overseen a steady growth in the size of the Trust and an increased public presence as well as a move to its own dedicated headquarters and shop in Peel in 2011.

Mr Bridges is now taking up a position in the South West of England looking after the hills and commons around the Malverns.

He says he felt it was time to let someone else takeover the running of the Trust  and is delighted that the public's interest in wildlife and conservation has increased over the years . . .
