Crowds of santas dash through Douglas

by isleofman.com 16th December 2015

Jamie Newton took first place after years of coming second

There was a big turnout at this year's Santa Dash, where around 200 people ran through Douglas in festive costumes.

There were elves, reindeer and even a snowman among the santas, who ran from Athol Street in a loop for the 15th annual race.

Jamie Newton won the race with a clear gap between first and second place, and was running for the Children Centre.

He says despite the fun atmosphere, he takes the race seriously.
