by isleofman.com 16th December 2015
The local branch of the Institute of Directors held a wine tasting and quiz night at Salt in Douglas recently and raised the magnificent amount of ?1,000 for Hospice Isle of Man.

Over 80 guests attended the fun event which included tasting wine, guessing what type of wine it was, where it was from and how much it would be sold for.

The night also included a raffle with the lucky winners receiving some fabulous prizes.

The Institute of Directors would like to thank everyone who donated prizes.

Special thanks go to the Isle of Man Creameries for donating a selection of Manx cheeses for the event and to Salt for hosting the event.

Clive Parrish, Chairman of The Institute of Directors on the Isle of Man said: “We had a fun networking evening with everyone getting in the spirit of the event!” “While having fun we raised a great donation for a very worthy charity.”

“I would like to thank everyone who attended.”

“In addition I would like to thank all the committee for sorting out the raffle prizes.”

Margaret Simpson, Chief Executive of Hospice Isle of Man added her appreciation on behalf of the charity.
