Moddey Dhoo Donates ?1325.00 to Southern 100 Helicopter Fund

by isleofman.com 14th December 2015
Peel based Moddey Dhoo Motorcycle Club recently presented the organisers of the Southern 100 with a cheque for ?1325.00 to go towards the Rescue Helicopter which is available at the races held on the Billown Circuit every July.

The very generous amount was handed over by Barbara Barlow, whose late husband Denis was a staunch supporter of ‘the friendly races’ and the support continues in his memory. The presentation was made at The Sidings in Castletown where the two clubs enjoyed a social evening including a excellent buffet put on by mine-host Dave Sayle.

Southern 100 President Derek Nicholson and Chairman Phil Taubman both expressed their thanks on behalf of the club for Barbara’s and the Moddey Dhoo’s continued magnificent support.
