by isleofman.com 14th December 2015

Big success for cup holders

Cup holders Corinthians triumphed in the only women’s football match of the weekend to survive the weather.

They were 9-1 winners over Old Boys in the Regency Travel Floodlit Cup tie at Ramsey Grammar School on Sunday afternoon.

A hat-trick from Casey Halsall, a Lisa Costain double and further goals from Anna Dillon, Jade Burden, Lydia Shaw and Lauren Christian ensured a rout.

The Blackberry Lane’s side consolation came via Becky Watterson.

The Peel v Douglas Athletic tie was postponed.
