Unemployment up in November

There was a slight increase in the jobless total between October and November - but the government says 786 unemployed is the lowest November figure in four years.


There was an increase of 12 people on the previous month. The unemployment rate now stands at 1.8 per cent. Sixty eight per cent are men and 32 per cent women. At the end of November there were 379 vacancies at the Job Centre.
