by isleofman.com 9th December 2015
The Bailey Murray Academy of Irish dancing opened their doors in March 2012, a family run dance school lead by Jennifer Bailey-Murray and Kevin Murray.

The past three years has seen the only commission dance school on the Isle of Man grow from strength to strength, and recently their ceili team won the North West Regional Championships in the under 15 category. This will see these dancers represent the Isle of Man and the UK in the World Irish Dancing Championships in Glasgow 2016!

In 2013 saw the introduction of former professional Riverdancer and world medalist Sarah Murray who currently trains dancers of all ages and abilities in the Isle of Man and the Wirral Liverpool.

Jennifer, Kevin and Sarah are extremely proud of the latest achievements of their dancers and wish them all the best of luck at this year ultimate dance competition in Glasgow where they will be competing against teams from all over the world.

Dancers are Shannon Caren, Amy Convery, Megan Jones, Aileen Flynn, Chevonne O'Boyle, Charmaine O'Boyle, Charlotte Irving and Erin Flynn.

Dance classes are held fortnightly and you can contact them at BaileyMurrayAcademy@gmail.com or by phoning Sarah on 07802687526
