Fedelta Launches Local Business Accountancy Service

by isleofman.com 7th December 2015
Fedelta, one of the Isle of Man’s longest established trust and corporate service providers, is turning its attention to helping small businesses across the Island, with the launch of a new accountancy service.

The aim is to provide established companies, sole traders and start-ups with an experienced but cost effective alternative to their current accountancy and bookkeeping arrangements.

Having successfully managed, operated and administered a wide range of local and international companies for nearly 30 years, Fedelta has regularly provided accountancy and tax support to its clientele. Now the plan is to widen the service to the broader Isle of Man business community.

The Athol Street, Douglas-based firm will be offering a comprehensive menu of facilities, including preparation of financial statements, bookkeeping, VAT returns, annual returns, both IOM and UK tax returns, payroll, budgeting and cash flows.

The emphasis will be on an affordably priced, but highly professional service and there will be no charge for an initial meeting with one of Fedelta’s qualified accountants.

“Accounting services can sometimes prove to be expensive, but our fees will be very competitive,” explained Fedelta Client Accountant, Kevin Murphy. “We recognise that, although accountancy services are an essential overhead for most businesses, for many fledgling companies the financial burden can be prohibitive, so we will work together with you to ensure these costs are kept to a minimum.

“We’re here to help any sole trader, start-up, or small to medium-sized business looking for cost-effective, friendly but totally professional accountancy support. We can remove the hassle of day-to-day administrative bookkeeping tasks and worries regarding the preparation of financial statements and submission of tax returns - leaving you to concentrate on building your business,” Kevin said.

He advised any Isle of Man business requiring a fresh approach for their accountancy workload to speak with one of Fedelta’s qualified accountants. “We’d like people to benefit from our experience, location and professionalism. We’ll listen to your requirements and provide you with guidance and, if needed, a brief proposal on the services we can offer you,” added Kevin who has been with Fedelta since 2002, having worked in the financial services industry for 25 years. He qualified through the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2001 and becoming a Fellow in 2006 (FCCA).

Fedelta’s well qualified accountancy and tax line-up includes Alison Collister who is also a Client Accountant and Hannah Smith, Fedelta’s Tax Manager.

The Fedelta Group is a privately owned company, founded in 1992 and licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority.

For anyone considering their accountancy options, Fedelta can be contacted by telephone on 622331, by email or by calling into the office reception to set up a non-obligatory appointment.
