The Isle of Man Creamery would like to thank its delivery drivers this morning who battled through terrible conditions to make sure that customers received their doorstep deliveries.
Managing Director Findlay Macleod said: ‘The road conditions last night really were unprecedented and it is real testament to the dedication of our drivers that we were able to get virtually all of our deliveries made this morning. The only places we weren’t able to access was lower Laxey and some closed roads, and our Customer Services Team have been able to speak to almost everyone that we weren’t able to reach. More bad weather is forecast overnight and once again we will endeavour to make as many of our deliveries as we can while keeping our drivers safety in the forefront of our minds.
‘I would also like to thank the emergency services, Department of Infrastructure and all of their partners for their work last night in making sure we were all able to travel safely and our thoughts are with those that suffered damage.’
