Semi-finals Greg bt Cameron 7-2, Orry bt Nathaniel 7-2; Final Orry Farnworth bt Greg Kelly10-8. This was one of our best competitions with all players showing pleasing skills at such an early age. 

Our membership is increasing every week with many juniors encouraging their parents to take up tennis again. Just a reminder that parents can play on Saturday afternoons whilst their child is having coaching indoors. The outdoor courts are first class and dry very quickly after a shower. If you want to re-start, tennis racquets are available to borrow. No doubt with this awful weather the re-surfaced courts which drain very quickly and our indoor court are a real attraction. We would like new members to join the British Tennis Membership scheme which does give access to the club’s ballot for Wimbledon tickets. Also any members who haven’t yet joined please take a look at the Lawn Tennis Association website – lta.org.uk/BTM and follow the links – it’s free and is also a benefit to the club.

Early next year we will be holding the Albany Flitch event which is for married couples – only one needs to be a member.
