Shoppers in Douglas need to check out the windows of stores in the town centre to be in with a chance of becoming the winner of the fabulous ?400-plus prize pot in the ‘12 Days of Christmas’ free prize draw competition.
12 businesses have teamed up with Douglas Development Partnership (DDP), the competition’s organiser, to display one of the 12 traditional images of Christmas in their windows. All keen-eyed shoppers have to do is match the 12 images to the businesses on the entry form, available from participating shops, DDP’s office in Victoria Street and Douglas town hall, then return the form. Correct entries will be entered in the draw for which the closing date is Friday December 18.
Town centre manager Michelle O’Malley said: ‘Businesses have really got behind this competition and been very generous, so with more than ?400 worth of prizes going to one lucky winner, it won’t just be “Nine Ladies Dancing” or “10 Lords a-leaping” who’ll be celebrating this Christmas.’
