A stoppage time try denied Douglas a home win against League leaders West Park (St Helens) at Port-e-Chee in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.

In Cheshire South, Vagabonds took maximum points at Ballafletcher when the beat Linley 64-7. Paceman Tom Gascoyne was the star running in four tries.

League leaders Manchester Medics ran in five tries as they beat Ramsey 31-3 at Mooragh Park and boosted their lead at the top to six points.

Shimmin Wilson Shield leaders Douglas B were thrashed 64-5 by champions Southern Nomads at King Williams College.
