Skelly defends spending on TT World Series

Exercise provided useful information Minister says

Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says more than £332,000 was spent on the shelved TT World Series.

 

This morning in Tynwald he revealed the total costs in response to a question from North Douglas MHK John Houghton.

 

Mr Skelly said all costs associated with the scrapped project, including a feasibility study from a UK-based consultancy firm, had now been paid.

 

But he defended spending a total of £332,049 on the project:-
